Sewing with stretch

Are you scared of sewing with stretch fabrics? Join our one day workshop where we will teach you all the tips and tricks for sewing with jersey.

This is the perfect next step if you are familiar with a sewing machine and have sewn woven garments before.

In this day long workshop, you will learn how to read and understand a stretch pattern, from finding your size, how much fabric you need, layout and cut your fabric as well as following the instructions to assemble your chosen pattern.
You will get advice on how to adjust the fit where needed and the aim of the course is to make you feel confident to work with stretch fabric  on your own.

You can choose from either the Coco, Billie or Agnes patterns from Tilly and the Buttons.

What’s included in your course:

– Use of a sewing machine, overlocker and sewing tools
– Tutoring

You will need to purchase your chosen pattern, fabric and haberdashery (we have a great selection of these – you can choose on the first day!)
